A brand built to grow with the business behind it

New brand identity, custom site, and design system for a luxury beauty studio

The work was luxury. The brand wasn't, and new client inquiries were disappearing into DMs. I delivered a new logo, an updated site, and a style guide built to support future expansion across both digital and physical touchpoints. Behind the site, new intake workflows capture new clientele and notify the owner in ways more reliable than the inbox they replaced, all built to fit the studio's budget.

The site

The owner wanted a minimalist landing with the focus on her new brand, funneling visitors to her services as quickly as possible. Each service links directly into a custom inquiry form, extensions or toppers, no hunting through pages. The new mark has a flow to it, evocative of the extensions she works with, distinct without being overbearing or cryptic, and the type, color, and finish of everything below connect back to it.

Luxury services are bought from a person, not a page, so I introduced Jessica early. The Meet Jessica section pairs studio portraiture with her own voice, leading with warmth and displaying her eighteen years of experience, so a visitor can put their trust in her expertise before they ever reach out.

Scrolling on, visitors meet the three services Jessica offers: premium extensions, custom toppers, and precision cut and color. Each card links into its own custom form, dropping the visitor directly into the right funnel with their interest already selected.

Social proof and Instagram

Real client testimonials pull directly from the salon's Google profile, keeping the page current without manual updates. I built a fully automated Instagram integration with a custom token refresh system that keeps the connection secure and the feed always live. The result is a portfolio section that stays fresh on its own.

Smart form routing

I built a custom form system that routes inquiries to the right stylist based on the service requested. Extensions, toppers, and cut and color each go to the person who handles that work, with all the pertinent details laid out clearly in their inbox. No third-party software, no manual sorting. The form adapts dynamically based on the service selected, pre-filling context so the stylist has everything they need at a glance.

The brand

The existing brand had outgrown its original identity. The owner needed something that matched the quality of her work and the caliber of her clientele: clean, confident, and premium without being cold. I designed a new logo and built a style guide that could flex across digital, print, and in-studio touchpoints.

The brand extends past marketing into the documents clients actually use. The extension care guide and salon policy live on the site, easy to find, set in the same type and palette as everything else, and built so Jessica can edit them herself as prices, policies, and products change.

Curveballs I had to take into careful consideration

  • The client came with luxury brands she loves. The mark had to live in that world without copying any of it, similar in feeling, unmistakably her own.
  • Luxury whispers and conversion asks. A brand this quiet still had to funnel visitors into forms without ever feeling like a sales page.
  • The finish had to read premium on a small-studio budget, every choice looking expensive without expensive infrastructure behind it.
  • The business is one person. The brand had to sound like Jessica and stay workable for her to run and update on her own.
